I became a teacher for a very simple reason - I want to make a difference. While there are many fields in which I could accomplish this goal, I feel that early childhood education is the one in which I can have the greatest impact. As a teacher, I feel that I have the power to ensure that children feel loved, respected and cared for, instill a love for life-long learning and most importantly, have a positive role in contributing to their happy and meaningful childhood.

 

     Even though teaching is a profession that can be supremely exhausting, I am certain that the benefits outweigh the fatigue ten times over as it is the most rewarding job one can ever have. I also believe that teaching requires patience, understanding, compassion, and enthusiasm - all things that I am more than willing to provide on a daily basis.

     Hopefully, in navigating my portfolio, you will come to understand who I am as a teacher. My goal is to highlight the strengths that make me a passionate, efficient and useful addition to any teaching team.
